Softly Azure
This latest in my Aurora series is a new experience in my Dutch pouring style. Dutch pouring is typically abstract, as the process of blowing it out is a study in color blends and the flow of paint. But it is not often a style that allows you to make it ‘look like something’ (outside of abstract floral). I’ve always loved paintings of sky - sunrise or sunset, no matter. In this painting I’m once again taking my Dutch pour style to a sunset painting, mixing a blowout style with the sky for an airy effect and fluid paint with palette knife waves.
